Silver Stories links new, young readers with elderly people, many who are in care homes, to enable them to read to them over the phone. It was created in 2015 in response to knowledge about the loneliness that can be felt by the elderly in the community and their often separation from the younger generation which have been particularly felt during the lock-down period.
