Drawing on the parallels between the visual signatures of streetwear design and the bold, arresting graphics of Japanese anime, DM have joined creative forces to bring to life a commanding reimagination of the Tarik boot.
Anime’s arrival on the analogue TVs of the 80s forged a whole new wave of alternative counterculture. And the collaboration with atmos celebrates the generations before us that weren’t afraid to be different.
Built with a Smooth leather and velvet upper with a PU padded collar, this boot is an amalgamation of streetwear style and pragmatic design.
A dual-branded clear TPU bubble logo is featured on the tongue, which is bound by atmos branded lacekeeper webbing. Brushed silver eyelets and ski hooks are woven with a red and white braided toggle lace, complementing the dual-branded black and red houndstooth footbed. Finished with an overlayed zip, Doc’s iconic yellow stitching and stacked smoke Tarian outsole.
